Bulletproof diet and bonus:
Have you heard of an “accountability partner”? Ever tried to start a diet, fitness regime, or quit some bad habit and just not stuck with it? The power of someone else keeping you accountable is very strong, but relying on someone to be there when you need them isn’t without it’s flaws. They go on vacation, get sick, the cat’s sick – stuff happens.
The Bulletproof® Diet book is almost here and to coincide with the launch, the author Dave Asprey has opened up a Lift group. What’s a Lift Group? Well, how much easier would it be to achieve a goal if you had a huge community of accountability partners, all around the world, setting the same goal you have that you can interact with, discuss problems you might be having with the goal, and motivate you to stick with it? That’s what Lift does. It’s an app that you simply add your goals to and it, along with stacks of people trying to achieve the same thing, give you that little nudge, little helping hand to keep you on track.
If you are looking for the free Lift Group , you can find it here. You can now even hire a coach to help you take your goals to the next level.

The weather is heating up and outdoor events are in full swing. Hillary’s Wellness Festival was fantastic a few weeks ago and we really enjoyed catching up with everyone that came down.
Leederville Carnival is a fantastic annual event that the whole family can get involved in. This year they have gone all out with a particular focus on health, which we are so happy about, we are going to be joining in the line up along the dedicated Coffee Lovers Lane on Carr Pl (behind Duende)
From the Light Up Leederville site:
INSPIRING HEALTHY COMMUNITIES
The Leederville Carnival recognises and seeks to incorporate and promote foods that contribute to a balanced, healthy diet. With over 80 local Leederville food businesses and external food carts brought in for the day, in addition to all the local food businesses and restaurants in the area, food is a big element of the carnival and selections are chosen carefully. However, the carnival goes deeper than simply ‘being healthy’ and recognises the rapid rise in food intolerances within our community (in particular peanuts, dairy and wheat) and seeks to give preference and focus on foods that provide a balanced diet, giving people alternatives such as gluten free, wheat free, dairy free, sugar free foods, incorporating vegetarian, vegan and other food elements that cater to a healthy, balanced diet that is pro-choice.
Where: Carr Place – Leederville Perth.
When: Sunday 7th December 2014 – Midday till late (8pm)
p.s. 2015 will be packed with visits to other states, so stay tuned, we can’t wait to take Bulletproof® “on-the-road”!
